Just remembered! I did do something interesting recently.

So I know that my work post was fascinating. But I realised that I went rock climbing last night.

That’s probably more blog-worthy than a selfie at my desk.

So here I am, enjoying the lovely variety of walls with stuff nailed to it available at Surrey Sports Park.

I didn’t have dinner. So unfortunately there are no food pictures to follow.

Rock climbing

Hopefully this photo will be bigger than some of the previous ones. I hope (again).

Another new post. Not as interesting

In my quest to populate this blog with news, I have been reduced to just telling the world that I was at work today.

It’s not big. Nor clever. But it is something I’ve done, so here’s a bit of evidence

There we go!

Incidentally, this also shows what a photo will look like in the middle of a post. I hope.

So it’s been a little while…

A little bit of time has passed since I promised to keep updating this.

Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut, I have been having a good time. So hopefully my delightful llama selfies will keep things happy.

I signed up with my girlfriend to walk some llamas around some woods a couple of weeks ago, and it was really good fun. They are utterly insane creatures. Kind of like 6 foot tall dogs.

An apology for a slow start to proceedings

Hi Mary

I hope your trip is going well and you’ve been gathering lots of interesting things for us to add to your blog.

I’ve put this together in part as an apology for progress being so slow over the last couple of weeks but also to show you what your blog will end up looking like. This page is the basic structure, and when I can find a lovely quilt based photo to put at the top, I will.

I have run into a few issues with the design that I will need to consult with you on, and I guess the best way to do that is by email.

Don’t worry about the name of this blog, it is just a trial so that I can make sure everything is going OK before I accidentally tarnish the name of Clear and Sparkly.

Finally, so that we can see how photos will appear in these things I’ve added a lovely picture of me in the library putting this together, enjoy!
